Fashion Retouch

One of the things I really enjoy doing is retouching, but I figured not a lot of people know that, so I decided to post one of the photos I recently worked on. Personally, I think that when shooting something post-editing is definitely very important, it should always be part of the complete process, just like composition, lighting, make-up when shooting with models and so on.
For this particular project I used an image that was actually amazingly well shot, so I just had to do some minor touch-ups:
-remove blemishes
-smooth skin
-remove stray hairs
-remove straps from wings
-background cleanup
-color and tone adjustment

  1. I love the very subtle but significant changes you made to the photo. Nowadays many people go over board with photoshopping so is nice to see you know go far to go!:)

  2. well I do think restraint is very important, after all, it's retouching, not photo-manipulation and the whole point is too look natural.
