For this particular project I used an image that was actually amazingly well shot, so I just had to do some minor touch-ups:
-remove blemishes
-smooth skin
-remove stray hairs
-remove straps from wings
-background cleanup
-color and tone adjustment

I love the very subtle but significant changes you made to the photo. Nowadays many people go over board with photoshopping so is nice to see you know go far to go!:)
ReplyDeletewell I do think restraint is very important, after all, it's retouching, not photo-manipulation and the whole point is too look natural.
