3D Projection Mapping - One of The Best Uses of 3D

First of all, let me admit that I was never that into the whole 3D revival that's been going on the last few years. Probably because I like to think of myself as a movie buff and when it comes to movies, this technology was most of the time equivalent to bad writing and horrid acting.
However, I'm not saying 3D doesn't have it's benefits. Being something that's meant to create an amazing  visual image, I believe that it's better suited for communication and advertisement - especially in a world overflowing with ads and information, where there's a constant search for something that draws the viewer's attention.
Such is the case of video projections, a concept that's really been taking off.

Best part? No need for special glasses, so you don't have to steal them next time you go see a movie! Projection mapping uses 3d surfaces such as buildings for the content it displays, creating some pretty spectacular images.
