Swedish designers
Linda and Jona Netsman launched an eclectic, colorful furniture collection called
Design by Leftovers. As the name would suggest, the collection is made out of recycled materials, such as used furniture or scraps of fabric, everything undergoing a serious upgrade process. Taking into account the materials used, one would only be surprised that the selling price for the armchair pictured above is almost 5500€, while a sofa goes for just short of 10000€.

What do you think? Does design come at a price? Or are we merely looking at an overpriced DIY project?
They look really great, but they are a little overpriced I think.

ReplyDeleteI really can't imagine how they made these furniture using recycled products. I just don't think it's possible because they all look awesome.

Creating a new product using recycled materials is really a good idea. I actually find your work very nice.

It matches both different retro and modern furnishing. The chairs achieve a unique look from the combination.
