Snow White And The Huntsman | First Trailer

We all know the story of Snow White and the seven dwarfs, I'm sure you've all heard it numerous times as children. Well, it's time to get excited, because Universal is doing a reimagining of the classic fairytale, and they've just released the first teaser trailer.
After the huge success of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, is it really any surprise that Snow White is next?
Kristen Stewart will be playing the title character - the only one in the land who threatens the evil queen's (Charlize Theron) beauty supremacy. In a twist from the classic tale, the huntsman hired to kill Snow White (Chris Hemsworth) ends up training her in the art of war, preparing her for what should be an epic stand-off against the queen.
The movie's teaser trailer was just released, and visually it's nothing less than amazing. Also, judging by the amount of things jumping out, I'm pretty sure it's going to be in 3D! Take a look at the promotional posters, and watch the video next:

Don't get to excited about the movie just yet though, because the release date is set for Summer 2012, so there's going to be a bit of waiting involved. Still, until then, I definitely recommend "Stardust", if you haven't seen it already. Charlize's role reminds me so much of Michelle Pfeiffer, and I'm sure it's a film you'll enjoy (re)watching.

  2. Sounds like a good movie, but I'm not sure Stewart was a good choice for Snow White. She hasn't really impressed me much by her acting. However, the queen sounds amazing. I will have to see this movie.

  3. Now this will be interesting! I am noticing this year especially on TV two new shows that are using fairy tales as their main premise. "Grimm" and "Once Upon a Time" I love them both!
