Interior Design Proposal for a Cafe in Bucharest

One of the projects I'm currently working on is redesigning a Cafe in Bucharest. This project, although rather commercial, definitely gave me a chance to express myself, so not only did I get to pick out all of the decoration, but I also got the opportunity to design my own furniture, which is something I'm really proud of.
For this project I wanted something simple, but with strong accents. The vibe I'm hoping to put across is pop-art inspired.

Renovations should begin this Sunday, and should be over by mid-February. I'm really excited, and I hope everything will go well. There's still a lot of work, and I also have finals the coming weeks, so wish me luck!

Rachel Zoe styles Her Collection for WWD

Even though she's seven months pregnant, Rachel Zoe has been keeping busy. Not only has she finished filming the fourth season for "The Rachel Zoe Project", which will air on Bravo, but the celebrity stylist is also preparing to launch her own clothing line.

Rachel has styled pieces from her line for WWD magazine. Check out the looks next:

Rachel's line stays true to her personality, and includes outerwear, shoes and handbags, with prices starting at about $250 for a day dress to over $700 for a full tuxedo look.
Rachel hopes her upcoming line will be sitting in stores on racks next to Alexander Wang, DVF and Marc Jacobs, some of Zoe's favorite designers.

This is not the first time Rachel has stepped out of styling into fashion design: she's also done a small, affordable collection with QVC, and has altered looks from other designers for her clients, but I think this line really takes her point across as a designer. What are your thoughts?

Propaganda Hair Salon in Austin, Texas

Dick Clark Architecture recently completed this interior design project.

Playing with the ideas of funtionality and aesthetic, Propaganda Hair Salon is composed of an open, loft-like space, but with different areas, each one using different materials.
The warmth and softness of wood is combined with the roughness of poured concrete to create a spectacular story in terms of design.

Sales Season

I've never been one to wait for sales in order to shop, but when I got back in Bucharest January 3rd and found out most major labels were having their mid-season sales I had to check some out.
Now, since every day this week I've been working until about 11PM I didn't really find time to go to a lot of stores, but I did call Denisa and told her that we've got to meet up @Zara.

See what I got next:

The pants weren't on sale, but I really loved them. Got everything else for about 30% off.
