5 Tips For a Great Hair-DO!

Never underestimate the importance of a great hair day! That's the motto I try to live by lately - well, at least it's one of many. I myself have been trying to let my hair grow a bit, as I try to master the quiff. Still, while I may be talented at some things, hair styling isn't on the top of that list.
Luckily, I can't help but feel grateful for all of the helpful tutorials I've found around the web as well as for the professional styling products that make things a whole lot easier.
Here are 5 essential tips for a great hair-DO!

1. Know your hair. To put it simply knowledge is power, and that applies to hair just as well as anything else. There are so many different hair types and textures, each of them needing a different approach, so before anything else, get familiarized with your hair!

2. Find your style. What is it you're trying to put across? Perhaps looking at some of your favorite celebs will give you a clue as to what's in at the moment, but also keep in mind what works best with your features.

3. Get the knowledge. Now that you know what you want, it's time to find out how to achieve the look. Take a look at tutorials that will help you achieve awesome results.

4. Arm yourself! You're just as good as your tools, so make sure to buy the appropriate hair products for the job! For example, my weapons of choice are a natural finish wax, paired with a final fix hairspray.

5. Consistency is key. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again! Just like any other skill, this requires practice, and you're bound to get things right sooner or later!
