Lana Del Rey | National Anthem (Official Music Video)

Lana Del Rey's music video for "National Anthem" was just released on June 27th, but it's already gathered a million views. If Instagram had a video uploading service, I'm pretty sure it would look exactly like Lana's new 8 minute video. What can I say, the singer stays true to her vintage feel.

New Illustration | Daenerys Targaryen

I admit it, I am obsessed with HBO's series "A Game of Thrones". It's so addicting and probably one of the best TV series I've ever seen. My favorite character would have to be Daenerys Targaryen or the "mother of dragons". One of the main themes in George R.R. Marin's series "A Song of Ice and Fire", which the show is based on, is the strong woman - and Daenerys is definitely one.

The second season just finished airing, and the wait until season 3 seems unbearable, so I decided to create a new illustration. What do you think?

Night Out @British Council

Although I've been walking past the British Council nearly everyday for the last few years on my way home, I've never actually gone in until last night. On June 22nd, Bucharest celebrated a nocturnal cultural marathon where anyone could visit the cultural institutions in town, so I finally decided to go and check it out. Everything was sports themed, and guests got a chance to play Fussball, Cricket or Ping-Pong. Also, sports movies were being projected throughout the night. For those who preferred something less physical, the library was also open and a special corner was set up to play board games.
It was so much fun, the perfect escape from finals, which unfortunately, I haven't finished yet!

French Vibes: IKKS Summer 2012 Lookbook

This is actually the first time I've crossed paths with French prêt-à-porter label IKKS, but as soon as I saw their amazing lookbook, I was captivated by the cool, very well put together, yet effortless-looking outfits. It's very much my style, so I would like nothing more than to go on a shopping spree. However, it's just my luck that no stores are open in my country! I'll take this as a sign that a Paris vacation is in order.

Outfit Inspiration: Suddenly Summer

The last couple of weeks went by so fast that I didn't even realize how hot it was getting outside; now I'm at that point when I started using my hair dryer as air conditioning. Deadlines have been keeping me busy beyond comprehension, but now that most of them are over, I can look forward to catching up on my blogging and event schedule, which is fantastic.
So, since most of my time lately has been dedicated to working, I sort of got out of tune when it comes to dressing appropriately for this souring heat. And what better than an inspirational post with some great summer outfit choices, right?
